Due to an increase in demand for showering facilities caused by office personnel cycling to and from work, our customers existing shower facilities were found to be inadequate.
Following a detailed planning meeting and approval of layout plans, the existing shower rooms and toilets were reconfigured doubling the number of shower cubicles available.
The design introduced many features which resulted in a high-quality impressive finish.
The shower rooms were designed to be wet rooms with concealed drainage below raised floors, and the shower areas formed using a glass cubicle system.
The floors and walls were clad with porcelain tiles, with access to service pipes being provided by using a laminate hung panel system.
The suspended ceiling within the shower rooms were constructed using a lay-in grid system including 600 x 600mm Armstrong Hydroboard tiles which are made to suit the wet humid conditions.
